About Apex Alaska Sportfishing

Apex Alaska Sportfishing offers unforgettable guided fishing experiences in the heart of Alaska's wild waters. Built for anglers who want a true Alaskan adventure, our trips combine local knowledge, quality equipment, and a comfortable, safety minded approach from the first cast to the ride back in.

Guests can expect a professional, hands on experience with gear ready to fish, including G. Loomis rods and Shimano reels. Whether you are chasing a bucket list catch, introducing family to Alaska fishing, or planning a return trip to waters you already love, we focus on making each day smooth, exciting and memorable.

Our season runs from May 1 through September 15, giving anglers the opportunity to experience Alaska during some of its most productive and scenic months. Come prepared for changing weather, big views, and the kind of fishing stories that last long after the trip is over.

The boat

Built for a Long Day on the Water

Our boat is 30 feet long and runs on twin 250 outboards, so we can get out to the fish quickly and cover water when the bite moves. The walk around cabin lets you work the rail from bow to stern without stepping over anyone.

When the weather turns, the heated cabin fits all 6 guests comfortably. Out back there is plenty of space on the deck, fish holds to keep your catch cold and a gutting tray for cleaning fish on the ride in. Everything you need is already on board.
